This page explains what happens when you delete your Upwise account.
What Gets Deleted
- Cloud backup data: All challenge data stored in Firebase Cloud Firestore for your account will be permanently removed.
- Firebase Authentication account: Your sign-in credentials and authentication record will be deleted from Firebase.
What Stays on Your Device
- Local data: Your challenge data stored locally on this device will NOT be deleted. You can continue using the app without an account.
- If you want to remove local data as well, you can uninstall the app or clear the app data through your device settings.
How to Delete Your Account
- Open the app and go to Settings (gear icon in the top bar)
- Scroll down to the “Danger Zone” section
- Tap “Delete Account”
- Confirm the deletion in the dialog
Timeframe
- Account deletion is immediate. Once confirmed, your cloud data and Firebase account are permanently removed.
- There is no recovery period. This action cannot be undone.

If you are unable to delete your account through the app (e.g., you cannot sign in), you can contact us to request manual deletion:
